Weekly King County Market Watch

King County’s housing market continued to build momentum in the latest week, with inventory rising as more homes came onto the market. New listing activity eased slightly but remains elevated overall, supporting the continued expansion in supply. Buyer demand strengthened, with pending sales increasing, while closed sales declined from the prior week, reflecting typical timing variability. Pricing showed mixed movement, with average sold prices ticking up while price per square foot softened, and homes continue to sell at or near list price. The pace of the market accelerated notably, with days on market declining, indicating that well-positioned homes are moving quickly despite growing inventory.
