Weekly King County Market Watch

King County’s housing market settled into a quieter holiday rhythm this past week, which is very typical for this time of year. Fewer new homes came to market as many sellers hit pause for Thanksgiving, and the total number of homes for sale declined again. Both pending and closed sales slowed as well, reflecting lighter seasonal activity rather than any major shift in the market. Prices remained generally steady, with only small week-to-week changes, though the median sold price dipped slightly as more mid-range homes closed. Homes are taking a bit longer to sell, but sellers are still seeing solid results when properties are priced well. Overall, it was a calm, balanced late-November market as we head toward the end of the year.
