Weekly King County Market Watch
King County’s housing market held steady last week, showing the hallmarks of a balanced fall season. Active inventory remained virtually unchanged, signaling stability after several weeks of gradual adjustments. New listings tapered slightly, reflecting the typical slowdown in seller activity this time of year, while pending sales dipped modestly and closed sales saw a larger pullback—consistent with a seasonal easing in buyer pace rather than a shift in fundamentals. Prices remained firm, with both average and median sale values holding close to prior weeks, and median active prices unchanged for the third straight week. Notably, days on market improved, indicating that well-priced homes continue to attract attention quickly. Overall, King County continues to demonstrate steadiness, with balanced conditions and resilient pricing carrying the market through the early stages of fall.
