Weekly King County Market Watch

In King County last week, market activity slowed compared to the prior week, with pending sales easing and closed sales seeing a sharper decline. New listings also dropped, tightening the flow of fresh supply, though overall inventory held steady. Days on market climbed higher, highlighting longer timelines for sellers, even as median active prices remained unchanged. Notably, sold prices showed strength, with both the average and median sold prices rising, signaling that while the pace of sales has cooled, pricing power remains resilient in well-positioned homes. This dynamic reflects a market adjusting to seasonal slowing, yet still supported by stable values and selective buyer demand.
