Weekly King County Market Watch
King County’s housing market continued to gain momentum this past week as inventory expanded again, giving buyers more options as the spring season unfolds. While new listings eased slightly from the prior week’s surge, overall supply remains on a steady upward trend. Buyer activity softened just a bit with a small dip in pending and closed sales, though activity levels remain strong compared with earlier in the year. Pricing showed notable strength, with both the average and median sold prices moving higher and homes selling closer to, and in some cases above, the list price. At the same time, homes sold significantly faster than the previous week as days on market dropped sharply, highlighting continued competition for well-positioned properties. Overall, King County remains an active spring market with growing inventory and strong buyer demand supporting healthy sales conditions.
