Weekly King County Market Watch

King County’s housing market continued to expand in the most recent week, with the number of homes for sale rising slightly as inventory continues its seasonal climb heading deeper into spring. New listing activity dipped modestly from the prior week but remains elevated compared to earlier in the year, helping maintain a steady flow of supply. Buyer demand showed mixed signals, with pending sales ticking up slightly while closed sales eased from the previous week. Pricing softened modestly across several measures, though homes are still selling very close to their original list prices, reflecting continued market competitiveness. The pace of the market remained relatively quick overall, with homes continuing to move in about the same timeframe as recent weeks as buyers remain active despite growing inventory.
